About the technology:

The system is consists of an air tight, rectangular shaped (shape doesn't matter) , thin flat box. The upper section of the box is closed with a holed plate i.e. it has a large number of tiny capillary tubes. In the capillary tubes, polyester fibers (or material with long-lasting and high adhesive force to the water molecules) are tightly placed (since the capillary rising effect increases with the decreasing of the radius of the tube, minimum radius is desirable and this effect can be achieved with the help of tight placing of the polyester fibers in the tubes). The top extensions of the polyester fibers are stretched out on the top of the system (see. fig). A pipe is air tightly connected to one side of the box and the other end of the pipe is connected to a water tank through a valve system. The whole of the system is filled with water. A water turbine with an electric dynamo (generator) is placed between the capillary system and the valve (see.fig).

 Working:

Since the bottom ends of the capillary tubes are dipped in water and the polyester fibers are tightly placed in the tubes, there will be a highly effective capillary effect occurred. When the sun shines, the water that reached on the top of every polyester fiber will be evaporated (dryness, high atmospheric temperature and wind can also cause an effective evaporation of the water on the top of the polyester fibers). When the top water evaporates, the capillary tubes will pump more water to the top and this process will be continued. When the whole of the capillaries of the system pumps the water from the inside of the system to the top, the system will suck more water from the water tank through the water turbine and the turbine will rotate. The valve restricts the direction of the water flow only towards to the capillary system. When the turbine rotates the dynamo connected to the turbine generate electricity.

In this system, the net capillary effect causes a pure suction force on the water pipe, but the current of the water through the pipe i.e. the quantity of water that flows through the pipe is less. If we make a small unit, the water current through the pipe will not be sufficient to drive the turbines even though the suction force is high. For this reason, the suction force can be hydraulically amplified to make a high current water flow to turn the turbine.

Comments:

Actually, it will not be a cost-effective and efficient devise; but it is an another method for the generation of energy.
