We can disintegrate nucleus of some elements with high energy (above 8MeV) photon. Here we targeting with high energy photons towards the nucleus. When this energetic OMLs falls on the nucleus, the nuclear particles start to oscillate with the frequency of the incident OML. When the frequency of oscillation of the nuclear particles over comes against nuclear binding energy, the disintegration of the nucleus will takes place.
